Nature in the Coffee Region

The hotel sits in a privileged natural setting, with many kinds of birds, plants and flowers that can be enjoyed from its terraces and lounges. Hummingbirds come to the feeders on the main terrace.

A working farm

La Ceiba is a family farm that was once part of La Argelia, founded in the 1920s. Besides its 1923 coffee, the farm grows plantain and guadua bamboo and raises cattle on a small scale. Only natural fertilizers are used.

At the hotel we offer coffee tastings and a farm tour to see the coffee process from the plant to the cup. We also offer transport, excursions and pick-up at the nearby airports.
